  • During the massage you will be fully draped with the exception of the body quadrants we are working on.

I will leave the room while you are undressing. When you are under the sheet and covered you can call me back in and we will begin the massage.

You are welcome to leave any amount of clothing on during the massage. By leaving clothing on this alters the massage from gliding strokes to an over the sheet compression technique.

By removing underwear this will allow me to work on the glutes. Before I ever engage in glute work I will check in with you to get the ok before moving forward.

This comfort level can change from session to session. We don't always feel the same way in our bodies day to day, so a check in with how you are feeling in your body will occur before each massage session.

  • Whatever makes you, the client, feel the most comfortable. Some people need to talk in order to relax while others prefer absolute silence.

I will let the client engage first in conversation to ensure the control of the session to remain in the hand of the client.

  • I am a massage therapist. I am 100% NOT here to judge your body. Stubble or unpolished toes do not offend or worry me in the slightest. Please come as you are and know this is a safe and judgment-free zone.

  • Shockingly… that's not how it works. Please know that massage is a safe space for all genders. Receiving massage from a man has literally zero to do with your sexual preference.

  • During a massage you enter a very relaxed state. Sometimes occupying a space in between sleep and being awake. An erection is a natural response from the body and is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. I ensure tight draping techniques that help to create a more mentally comfortable state if an erection occurs. Again, if this happens you do not get your gay card. Please do not have an identity crisis over this occurrence.
*With that said, sexual advances of any form from any gender will not be tolerated. A sexual advance in any form will result in immediate termination of the massage with full payment required.

  • I take that level of relaxation as a compliment. Your body is still receiving the benefits of massage if you do fall asleep during the massage. You are not the first person to drool when receiving a massage and will not be the last.

  • We prefer the term Massage Therapist. Masseuse tends to have a sexual connotation that is no longer accepted or appreciated by members of the massage community.

  • The no pain no gain mindset is not something I entertain. Some people have the mindset that if they are not receiving deep pressure they aren't getting the benefits of massage. This is not true there are multiple layers of muscles within the body and by going directly to deep pressure you are blasting past layers of muscle that may need specific attention. I always check in on pressure and want to make sure we are reaching your therapeutic edge at times but pain does not equal gain in massage.

  • I truly care about my clients mental and physical comfort while they are receiving massage.

Personally, I have a history of perpetually being uncomfortable or feeling like I can't speak up when I have questions or am feeling discomfort. The grin a bear it mindset to avoid advocating for myself.

I encourage any client to ask any questions necessary that will take any guesswork out of the equation and allow the mind to rest.
